Musical Playlist #14: R&B Divas

I was just thinking of all the R&B divas that I grew up listening to.  I heard a song on the radio the other day and it reminded me of all those women, their voices, their songs and the message in their music.  The R&B divas of the 1980s and 1990s were   fierce, could sing, dance and do it all.  And of course, they had songs that empowered women and let us know that we were strong and could handle anything but didn’t have to put up with everything too.  And for that, I cannot forget them.  Cheers to them!
